The federation focuses on pressing issues for law enforcement, including addressing insufficient operational resources, securing adequate healthcare provisions, and establishing uniform standards for regional law enforcement.

It unites police welfare representatives from over a dozen Caribbean territories to foster collaboration and share strategies that benefit officers and their families.
Organization & Membership
Founding:
The CFPWA was founded on May 25, 2007, in Nassau, Bahamas, following a Memorandum of Understanding signed by nine countries.
Member States:
Membership spans the region, including Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, Barbados, the Bahamas, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, St. Lucia, St. Kitts and Nevis, the Turks and Caicos Islands, and the British Virgin Islands.
Key Activities
Meetings:
The organization hosts Annual General Meetings (AGMs) and mid-year Intercessional Meetings to discuss strategies, review challenges, and elevate regional police operations.
Leadership:
The federation is led by an elected executive board (with most recent terms spanning 2025–2027).
