Turks and Caicos Police Welfare Associations

Inspector Alvirto Ali Alexander Smith M.Sc. B.Sc., enlisted in the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police on December 4th 2000. He served in many roles and worked in specialist areas such as the Marine Police, Training School as an Instructor and the Chief Instructor, the Estate and Fleet Manager and the Staff Officer to the Commissioner of Police.

Having been elected as the Chairman of the RT&CIPF Welfare Association in May 2015, Inspector Smith and his Executive Team set out to revitalize the Police Welfare Association, as it was inactive for a number of years. The team sort new and innovative ways to reestablish Esprit de Corpus within the Organization, while renewing community relations in the Turks and Caicos Islands. The team aim’s to revise the By-Laws of the RT&CIPF Welfare Association to reflect contemporary morals in regards to the Health, Wealth and Wellbeing of Police Officers and their Dependents.
