Welcome to St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Welfare Association.

Sgt 509 Brenton Smith is a member of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force for the past twenty two years. He worked at several departments and out stations.He holds a Diploma in Business Management at the University of Leicester and a Master’s Degree in Management and police leadership at the same university.

Roles and Functions of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Welfare Association.

  • To make representations with regard to all matters affecting the general welfare and efficiency of the members of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force
  • To make representation on behalf of all members and to negotiate with Government for Increases in salaries and allowances.
  • To assist its members financially in areas of medical, natural disaster and legal fees.
  • With the exception of questions relating to discipline or promotion, the Police Welfare Association may make representation on matters of principle for its members.

Other activities of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Welfare Association include

  • To organise and host the Annual Award and Retirement Ceremony, an enhancement and replacement of the Police Christmas drink-up.
  • To organise and host the annual Kids Christmas party.
  • The hosting of the Annual NCO’s and Constables Conference.
